Sometimes for the change we most want to happen, we need to step outside of our daily lives and into a setting that supports the deepest parts of ourselves, parts that may otherwise be silenced without slowing down to listen.
Held at the historic Scotia Lodge in the heart of Northern California redwood country, the Center for New Growth offers two kinds of retreat crafted to catalyze the transformation you seek through ketamine facilitated group work and integration processes. Their work is informed by somatic psychotherapy and practices, Internal Family Systems and attendance to spiritual psychology and ritual. The retreat schedule includes free time that can be used for massage, hiking, spa treatments or further reflection.
Prior to joining the retreat, an individual telehealth medical clearance exam and a telehealth group preparation session with all retreat participants will take place.

“It is the experience of being in connection that fulfills the longing we have to feel fully alive.” Laurence Heller, PhD, from Healing Developmental Trauma
This retreat is designed to help you connect with your true self and unlock the potential for growth and healing.
At our retreat, we utilize the powerful psychedelic properties of ketamine to facilitate a transformative experience that can help you break through limiting beliefs, trauma, and emotional blockages. With the guidance of experienced therapists, you will embark on a journey of self-discovery and introspection, leading to deep and meaningful connections with your true self.
Our retreat offers a safe and supportive environment for you to explore the inner workings of your mind and emotions. Through ketamine-assisted therapy, you will be able to tap into your subconscious and access buried emotions, memories, and insights that can help you better understand yourself and your place in the world.
Our team of compassionate and highly skilled therapists will be with you every step of the way, offering guidance, support, and encouragement as you navigate this transformative journey. We believe that everyone has the potential for growth and healing, and we are committed to helping you unlock that potential and find your true path.
Our retreat is designed for individuals who are ready to explore their inner selves and embark on a journey of self-discovery and healing. “The wounded healer is the one who, through their own suffering, can bring new life and healing to others.” Rachel Naomi Remen, MD
This retreat is designed specifically for those who have dedicated their lives to healing others. As healers, it’s all too easy to neglect our own emotional and mental wellbeing in the pursuit of helping others. This can lead to burnout, compassion fatigue, and difficulty maintaining your own mental health, all of which can hinder our ability to provide the best care for our patients.
That’s why we’ve created this retreat – to provide a safe and supportive environment where healers can take the time to heal themselves. Our program combines the proven benefits of ketamine assisted psychotherapy with a range of therapeutic techniques and modalities designed to help you address and overcome the issues that are holding you back.
Over the course of our retreat, you’ll work with our experienced therapists and facilitators who understand the unique challenges that come with being a helper. You’ll participate in group therapy sessions, individual counseling, and guided meditation and mindfulness practices, all designed to help you identify and process the root causes of your stress, anxiety, and other mental health issues.
At the end of the retreat, you’ll leave with a renewed sense of purpose and energy, as well as the tools and techniques you need to continue your healing journey long after the retreat is over. If you are struggling with burnout, compassion fatigue, or secondary trauma, we invite you to join us on this transformative journey towards healing and renewal.
