Ravenna Giannotta
Supervised Psychotherapy Trainee

Ravenna's Background
Ravenna is a PhD student in Integral Psychology at Meridian University and a supervised psychotherapy trainee at Center for New Growth, where she supports clients
through psychotherapy, psychedelic-assisted therapy integration, and community-based support groups.
Her work is grounded in a holistic and relational approach to healing. She understands growth
as both deeply personal and inherently contextual, emphasizing that mental wellness emerges
from the wisdom of body, mind, and spirit while also being shaped by relationships, family
systems, community, and culture.
Ravenna brings a background in embodied and expressive practices, including yoga,
breathwork, dance, movement, and art.
Experience and Approach
Ravenna is trained as a yoga teacher and breathwork facilitator, and draws from approaches such as Internal Family Systems, Somatic Experiencing, and community psychology. In recent years, she has worked primarily with children and families, supporting their capacity to thrive through holistic, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive care. Her doctoral research explores evolving concepts of community, family, and
intimate partnership through critical feminist, decolonial, and queer perspectives.
Her clinical interests include the relationship between collective wellness and individual
wellbeing, nontraditional family structures, and the role of community in the healing process.
She is passionate about cultivating connection and resilience in times of collective uncertainty.
