I am originally from Illinois, but after a volunteer service with the CCC, I knew I had to live in Humboldt where the mountains, Redwoods, rivers, and oceans meet! When not working I love to be out in nature hiking or kayaking, traveling, or engaged in creative pursuits.
I have Bachelor’s degrees in both biology and psychology and graduated with my MSN in 2007. I spent most of my career in emergency nursing but also have experience in labor & delivery, postoperative recovery, and Nursing education. In recent years the research demonstrating efficacy of psychedelics and ketamine in the treatment of depression and anxiety captured my interest. Discovering that the work was being done right here in Humboldt, I knew I wanted to be a part of it! I am thrilled to start this new chapter with the Center for New Growth and feel truly honored to be part our clients’ journeys.
