Lennea's Background
Lennea is originally from Illinois, but after a volunteer service with the CCC, she knew she had to live in Humboldt where the mountains, Redwoods, rivers, and oceans meet! When not working she loves to be out in nature hiking or kayaking, traveling, or engaged in creative pursuits.
She has a Bachelor’s degrees in both Biology and Psychology and graduated with her MSN in 2007. Lennea has spent most of her career in emergency nursing, but also has experience in labor & delivery, postoperative recovery, and Nursing education. In recent years the research demonstrating efficacy of psychedelics and ketamine in the treatment of depression and anxiety captured her interest. Discovering that the work was being done right here in Humboldt, she knew she wanted to be a part of it! Lennea is thrilled to start this new chapter with the Center for New Growth and feel truly honored to be part our clients’ journeys.
