Kari's Background
As a strength-based therapist, Kari provides compassionate and affirming therapy. Her approach is somatic, creative, and holistic, informed by over thirty years of embodiment practices. With a strong foundation in mindfulness and meditation, she integrates mind, body, and spirit into her work, using multiple pathways to support transformation.
Experience and Approach
Kari understands and values the importance of intersecting identities and aims to create a space that respects each person’s unique identities and lived experiences. She works
collaboratively to help clients access their own inner strength and wisdom on their paths toward self-discovery, healing, and growth.
Her practice is influenced by somatic and mindfulness-based approaches, Narrative Therapy, DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and strength-based modalities.
Kari is currently pursuing a PsyD in Organizational and Human Psychology and is interested in the qualities of leadership and the ways that work and purpose shape our lives and well-being.
