Jane Moran, AMFT

Integration Therapist

Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #134593, supervised by Melissa Sandeen, LMFT and Kristina Kopko, LMFT

Jane Moran, Registered AMFT #134593, has been exploring the intersections of mindfulness, somatic experience, relationship and healing since 2009, when transformative experiences at Vipassana retreats and Burning Man re-oriented the trajectory of her life. She is a graduate of the California Institute of Integral Studies in Somatic Counseling Psychology, and has since continued training in Ketamine Assisted Therapy at the Ketamine Training Center, Internal Family Systems (Level 1), EMDR, Sex Therapy at CIIS, as well as completing specialized trainings in KAP & EMDR and Couples KAP.

Prior to beginning her career as a therapist, Jane trained in and practiced NVC, Hakomi, and various forms of Eastern and Western bodywork for many years, alongside work in permaculture and community organizing. Here she honed her skills as an attuned listener while attending to physical bodies as well as human communities, ecosystems and plants.

Her clinical orientation is informed by these experiences, and a faith in the “innate healing intelligence” that animates all beings: with enough safety and nourishment, humans and other living things will tend to grow in the direction of health, expansion, and right relationship. In session, Jane’s focus tends towards nervous system healing through co-regulation, somatic awareness, and gentle, creative approaches to re-patterning attachment trauma.

Jane also believes in the healing power of safe relationships and community, and is grateful to have found her clinical home at the Center for New Growth, where she continues to be inspired by the creativity, passion, and commitment of her collaborative team.
