Hanna Nielsen, MA

Psychedelic Integration Coach

Hanna's Background

Hanna Nielsen holds a Master’s degree in Ecopsychology from Naropa University and is a trained Eco-Chaplain and Good Grief Network FLOW facilitator. She is the founder of Ecopsychology Connection, a practice focused on helping people reconnect to the earth and process and metabolize emotions related to the environmental crisis. Her graduate research explored integration within ecopsychology practices, utilizing psychedelic medicine and wilderness rites of passage as case studies to better understand the process of meaningful and lasting change. Hanna has experience holding collective grieving spaces through mindfulness, ritual, embodied awareness, and nervous system regulation practices. She is passionate about helping individuals feel grounded, supported, and connected to their inner wisdom throughout the healing and integration process.

Experience and Approach

Hanna’s work is grounded in a deep respect for the wisdom of the body, the healing potential of authentic connection, and the restorative power of relating with the natural world. Her approach is rooted in the belief that healing happens when individuals feel safe enough to slow down, listen inwardly, and be fully witnessed in their experience. She brings a calm, compassionate, and grounded presence to her work, supporting clients in making meaning from their experiences and integrating insights into daily life.

Drawing from Buddhist wisdom traditions, mindfulness practices, ecopsychology, and trauma-informed care, Hanna supports clients in cultivating resilience, self-awareness, and self-compassion. Mindfulness and Buddhist philosophy ground her practice, and she is passionate about supporting individuals in reconnecting to their own spiritual wisdom during times of transition and crisis. She believes supportive integration care is essential for creating lasting change and feels honored to support individuals as they navigate growth, transformation, and reconnection to themselves and their lives.
